Sigma Iota Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated will be hosting an annual charity fundraiser and scholarship celebration. We humbly and respectfully request you support as a Sponsor.
For 80 years Sigma Iota Chapter has been a beacon of light in providing service to the community through its many programs and activities. Proceeds from your corporate sponsorship are earmarked for the support of scholarship, youth mentoring, and community impact.
Scholarships
Since the inception of our organization Omega men have epitomized the meaning behind the phrase “academic excellence”. Sigma Iota offers financial support to high school seniors who are continuing their education at a four (4) year university or college. Since 2008, Sigma Iota Chapter has awarded over 250 academic college scholarships, having a total value in excess of $300,000, to worthy Alameda County and Contra Costa County high school seniors (young men and women) matriculating at four (4) year colleges or universities. The majority of the scholarship recipients are low-income students and many are first generation college-going students who are determined to be prepared to enter the world of work and service via higher education.
Youth Mentoring
Omega Gentleman Youth Mentoring (Omega Gents) is a club-oriented mentoring program designed around the fraternity’s Cardinal Principles (Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift) to teach and encourage high school males to positively define, plan, pursue and achieve their potential in life. Youth served by Sigma Iota Chapter experience personal development essential to their long-term success, mature academically, socially and emotionally, develop a sense of community, and build confidence necessary to visualize, believe and pursue their dreams.
Community Impact
In addition to knowing that proceeds from your tax-deductible donation will be earmarked scholarships and youth mentoring, as a corporate sponsor you will both impact the community and receive certain benefits and privileges as follows:

- Pays for three (3) $2,000 Academic Scholarships and program expenses to support three (3) Omega Gents

Diamond
